A few of my plants

My poor dying hosta

My hosta's that are more shaded and less dried out have finally bloomed

They all have very browning and crumbly leaves though - so sad.

Snowball!!

I have no idea what these are. Any help? They grow on the side of the garage. I almost doused them with weed killer a few weeks ago but the plant was different and I thought I'd wait a bit and see what became of them. I sortof forgot about them since it's not an area of the house I'm in frequently. I noticed yesterday that they had bloomed. It was early morning then, and from across the fence a little way, they looked like creamy white small flowers. Today I remembered to go take pictures and I found them all closed up, some dry and brittle and seeds only on the inside. I'm going to make a point tomorrow morning to see if they open up again.

Everything got a little more water this evening and it's supposed to be 58* or so degress through the night. I hope they all get a chance to recover a little before the temps are back in the 90*s tomorrow. YUCK!

They're all a little better now - we managed to get caught up a little on our rain but I think the drought just ruined them for this year. I hope they'll recover well next year.
